An affordable solution for school mental wellness
Every student should have access to qualified mental health support within their home school district. Improving mental health leads to stronger schools, improved educational outcomes, and lower costs for school districts.
Thrive Alliance Group has developed a unique and affordable solution to help schools improve student and staff mental health. The program helps your school to build a culture that accepts and prioritizes mental wellness. Our mental health training, coaching, and certification program leverages the resources you already have: your talented school staff.
Train your school staff to provide mental health support
Through our program, you can equip selected staff members (such as school psychologists, social workers, and teachers) with the skills and knowledge to provide a variety of mental health support services in your school.
Your trained staff members become effective mental health advocates who can counsel struggling students and staff members, give mental health awareness training to teachers, guide IEP development and evaluation, work with families, more effectively manage classroom behaviors, and much more.
Thrive’s clinical expertise combined with over a decade of experience providing mental health services in schools make us uniquely qualified to teach your staff how to improve outcomes for your students and staff.
Our mental health training, coaching, and certification program provides a blended learning model with the following components:
- A series of online mental health training modules covering topics like suicide risk assessment, trauma informed care, anxiety, depression, and school refusal.
- Weekly online mental health coaching consultations with a clinical expert for ongoing guidance and advice.
- Upon completion of the program, your staff receive the following mental health certification: Certified School Mental-Wellness Specialist™

Every member of the school community benefits from mental health support
Students get the help they need to succeed in school and secure their future.
Parents get qualified support for their children from district staff they already know.
Child study team members gain the skills and the confidence to effectively help their students who are struggling with mental health issues, and the job satisfaction that comes from making a real difference in their lives.
Teachers gain access to qualified in-school mental health counselors available to assist them with students and issues in their classrooms.
Administrators know they are doing everything they can to prevent school tragedies and provide universal support to build academic achievement.
School districts see improved academic performance, increased attendance, and reduced disciplinary incidents. And they can reduce the heavy cost of paying for out-of-district placements for many students with behavioral and mental health issues.
