Alternative Education That Works

Alternative Education provides structured, supportive learning environments for students in grades K–12 who are not thriving in traditional classroom settings—often due to behavioral challenges, chronic absenteeism, or other barriers to success.

These programs are designed as temporary placements where students can continue working toward academic goals while receiving targeted behavioral and emotional support. Through counseling, skill-building, and evidence-based interventions, students are guided toward re-engagement with learning and a successful return to less restrictive settings.

At Thrive Alliance Group, we specialize in building and supporting in-district alternative education programs that align with each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and district goals. Our mission is to help every student recover credits, build confidence, and develop the skills they need to succeed—both in school and beyond.

Meeting Students Where They Are

When students face expulsion, chronic absenteeism, or behavioral crises, traditional classrooms often can’t meet their needs. Public school staff are stretched thin and may not have the specialized training to support these students effectively.

Thrive Alliance Group Provides a Better Way

TAG partners with school districts to design, staff, and support in-district alternative education classrooms and schools. Our teams include:

  • Certified Teachers
  • Behavior Specialists
  • Instructional Coaches
  • Mental Health Professionals

Together, we create safe, structured, and supportive environments where students can recover both credits and confidence.

A Framework for Success

Every TAG classroom follows a student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and integrates proven frameworks:

  • MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports)
  • SEL (Social and Emotional Learning)
  • ERI (Emotional Regulation Impairment)

We focus on both academic recovery and social-emotional development, helping students re-engage with learning and build the skills they need to thrive.
